Titans' Times

September 8, 2023,

Next week will be our FIRST whole week of School; we have much fun planned as part of our "Welcome Spirit Week." The students have been encouraged to participate in the fun theme days, and there will be a special challenge for the class with the MOST participation. Mrs. Moylan will also be selling ICE CREAM for $2, The proceeds from the ice cream sales go to our POSITIVE PLAYGROUND fund that buys new fun playground items to play with outdoors.

The new Legal Titans students will be invited to a special lunchtime event next Tuesday, where they will be treated to a pizza lunch! We look forward to getting to know these Titans more!

Weekly on Titans Thursday, the students are recognized for being Safe, Proud, Responsible and Respectful. Three names are chosen from the SPRR jar in each class, and then at the end of the month, their names will be drawn to participate in the Dice/Duck challenge.

The School Learning Team from the office (including Mrs. Webb, Mrs. Crowston, Miss Keay & Mrs. Kleparchuk) will have a pizza luncheon for our elementary and junior high students new to Legal School on September 10th! It will be a great way to see how the students are doing. Please know that if you are new to Legal School and still have questions, you may reach out to our office anytime!

• Monday 12th - *Twin Day - Pick a friend (or sibling) and dress just like them!
• Tuesday 13th - *Anythinfg But a Backpack Day - Be creative and bring your school items in something other than a backpack!
• Wednesday 14th - *Backwards Day - Dress backwards, inside out, upside down. It's time to be "back to school".
• Thursday 15th - Neon Day - Wear your brightest and funkiest NEON colours as this year is going to be bright!
• Friday 16th - *PJ Day - We made it to the first full week of school, wear your comfy PJ days for Friday Fun Day!

We have adjusted the Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten class dismissal time to comply with the new instructional time limits for this school year. Starting Monday, September 9th, the class will end at 11:16 a.m. instead of 11:23 a.m. Please promptly pick up your child at the new dismissal time, as our staff needs to prepare for their next classes.

The mornings, especially on school days, can be hectic and tiring.
