Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome back to a very wintery week! Thanks to our caretaker Mr Archibald for ensuring our school site has been safe and accessible despite the icy conditions.
There has been an obvious theme running throughout the school this week and I have heard this so many times, “My class have come back so well, they are really settled.” I have seen so many smiling faces - children and staff genuinely pleased to see each other and be back in their routine.
During the training day on Monday, staff were introduced to the new method of communication that will be replacing Marvellous Me – Class Dojo. More information will go out to parents on Monday morning and you will receive a code to log in to your child’s/children’s class/classes. I will be holding a drop-in session after school on Monday (3.30-4.30) for anyone that needs help logging in. As part of the info, you will receive a photo consent and code of conduct. I have used this as a practitioner and a parent and found it invaluable for learning more about my child’s education so I hope you like it!
I hope you have a great weekend,
Mel Walmsley
