Town Hall Meeting

We hope you will join us Tuesday, February 6th at 6:00 as we cast vision on the 2018-2019 school year. Many of you have asked about enrollment dates/deadlines. Below is a list of the important dates you need to know.

Fall Early Registration February 7th-May 1st

Summer Registration March 1st-April 30th (Late registration fee applies after May 1st)

Tuition Assistance Application Deadline -April 30th

MSA Preview Day

Know anyone who is interested in sending their child to MSA? Let them know about our upcoming preview day. Prospective parents may stop by anytime Wednesday, February 21st from 9AM to 6PM to tour and find out more about all that MSA has to offer.

Thank You

A very speciall than you to Mary Karl and Christy Flanagan for their help organizing and to all of the parents who donated items and/or time for the Vex Robotics consessions fundraiser. The event raised $2,615.30 which will go toward granting teacher wishlists for their classrooms in the spring.

Be sure to save the date for our biggest event and fundraiser of the year! Rise & Shine is just around the corner and as always it will take all hands to pull this off. This year, we are excited to be making some changes that we think will make this year's event the best one yet. If you are interested in helping with planning, we would love to have you join us for a light breakfast and idea session on Wednesday, February 7th at 8:15 in the library. If you are unable to attend, but would like to help, please let our office staff know by emailing us at office@morningstarlions.org. Also, please watch for more details and opportunities to sponsor this community wide event.

It's not too late to purchase jeans passes for someone you love. These make great little treats for students and teachers!

December & January Leading Lions

Hopefully by now each of you have received a special envelope in the mail that has your child's Leading Lions awards. Teacher's acknowledge students with exceptional behavior with a Leading Lion award that they bring down to the office and add to our jar. At the end of the month, we draw five names for Pizza with Mrs. Burns. The remaining awards are then mailed home so that kids can get an extra dose of praise at home for their awesome behavior.

Our December and January winners are pictured below and will get their pizza on Friday, February 16th during their lunch period.
