Welcome Back!
I hope that you had a great fall break and enjoyed time with family. Our final Timber Trot numbers are in, we raised $18,985 (47.5% of goal). Thank you for supporting our school fundraiser! Your contribution helps provide valuable resources and opportunities for our students, enriching their educational experience. We truly appreciate your generosity and commitment to our school community!
As we return back to school, Progress Report will be sent home electronically on Friday, October 25. Please watch your email for notifications. Reports card will be available through the link for 7 days.
We are preparing for first trimester conferences the week of October 28- November 1st. Parent-teacher conferences are important because they provide a dedicated opportunity for open communication between parents and teachers. These meetings allow teachers to share valuable insights about a student’s academic progress, social development, and classroom behavior, while parents can provide context about their child’s learning habits and challenges at home. Conferences also create a partnership between home and school, ensuring that both parties are working together to support the student's success.
We hope to see you at our Trunk or Treat this coming Friday! We have a candy donation drive this week to collect for Trunk or Treat, please send in your donations to your child(s) classroom. We will also collect can goods for CCSD Food Pantry.
Have a great week,
Mrs. Bowens, Principal

ILLNESS REMINDER FOR PARENTS
All students must be fever-free (fever = 100.4* or higher) without fever-reducing medication for 24 hours and feeling well enough to participate in school. They also must stay home until it has been 24 hours since their last episode of vomiting and/or diarrhea and eating and drinking before returning to school.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact our school nurse: Gina Bighorn @ gbighorn2@cherrycreekschools.org or 720-886-3205
Would you like to celebrate your child's birthday or half birthday? Their name can be showcased on our marquee on the day of their birthday. All money will be used to support student activities like assemblies, PAWS celebration and prizes, and school fun. What an exciting way to celebrate their birthday!
