Thunderbird Update

Thunderbird Families,
Hope you all had a restful and relaxing Fall Break with quality time spent with family and friends. Lets kick off the 2nd nine-weeks with enthusiasm and positivity! I want to say how impressed the staff has been this first quarter with our students. They are working hard in the classroom and actively engaging and taking ownership of their learning! We are all excited to see what our Thunderbirds will excel at this next quarter.
A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. Yee and our Thunderbird Choir! They submitted a video of our Advanced choir students singing "I Want To Know What Love Is" and won the opportunity to sing in concert with Foreigner at the NMSU Pan Am Center on October 9th! What an amazing opportunity for Mr. Yee and this young group of singers.
There will be no BUG this week. Tutoring will begin again in 2 weeks!
It is another busy week!
- iMSSA assessment Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We will run on an advisory schedule these 3 days. Please bring fully charged computers to school each day.
- Report cards will be finalized and ready for viewing in ParentVue by Friday.
- Zia Football travels to Mesa Middle School Tuesday with a 4:45 kickoff time.
- Volleyball Playoffs Begin - See brackets below
- Zia Choir performs live in concert with Foreigner at NMSU, October 9th
- BUG Tutoring will resume the week of October 21st.
