It has been an absolute joy watching our Littlest Pirates grow by leaps and bounds this school year—academically, emotionally, and even physically! From learning new letters and numbers to making new friends and building independence, their growth has been truly incredible to witness. We are so grateful for the partnership we've shared with you, our amazing parents and caregivers, in supporting your child’s journey. Thank you for trusting us to be a part of their early learning adventure—it’s been an honor to help your little ones learn, laugh, and shine each day!

Lytle ISD Community,

We know that recent news about immigration enforcement actions has caused concern for some families. I want to reassure you that Lytle ISD remains committed to serving all students in our community. Our schools are places of learning, safety, and belonging for every child.

While we do not control the actions of outside agencies, I want to be clear: Lytle ISD does not collect or retain any information about a student’s or family’s immigration status. Our role is to educate and support students, and that commitment has not changed.

If you have any concerns, we encourage you to reach out to us. We are here to serve and support every child who walks through our doors.

At the Primary all of our students are offered free breakfast daily. Our PreK students eat in their classrooms and our Kindergarten and first grade students eat in the cafeteria.

Our students in our Head Start program are provided a free school lunch in the classroom daily. In kindergarten and first grade students are able to pack a lunch from home or they can eat a lunch from the cafeteria.

  • Integrity generates trust. When we are honest and follow through on promises, we gain the confidence of our team; Trust allows us to collaborate and achieve more together.
  • Integrity encourages self-assessment. Integrity requires our regular self-assessment to align behaviors with our goals and self-beliefs.
  • Integrity is essential in leadership. Great leaders decrease anxiety and build strong teams when they are honest, consistent, and responsible.

  • Acknowledge and affirm acts of integrity. Publicly praise students who model acts of integrity such as honesty and honor. Encourage students to identify classmates who show integrity.
  • Use scenarios and role-play. Challenge students with real-life scenarios and situations that allow them to reflect, discuss, and choose the best next step or action.
  • Create a culture of accountability. Invite students to give you feedback. Ask students to rate the class based on your Social Contract. Empower students with choice-based consequences.

  
  

  
  

As we wrap up the 2024–2025 school year, we're already looking ahead to next year’s routines. For the 2025–2026 school year, student drop-off times will be as follows: Primary and Elementary students may be dropped off beginning at 7:15 AM, and Junior High and High School students may be dropped off starting at 7:45 AM. We hope these updated times help all of our Pirates start their day early, safely, and on time!

As we close out the school year, I want to take a moment to personally thank you for your incredible support and partnership. It has been a true privilege to work alongside you in helping our Littlest Pirates learn, grow, and shine. Whether you’ve encouraged learning at home, volunteered your time, or simply cheered your child on each day, your involvement has made a meaningful impact on our campus community.
