Thank you to the Mignon Sherwood DeLano Foundation for their incredible generosity to support our students' love of reading! Washington Street just received the donations needed to get a Book Vending Machine and now OPS received an $8,000 grant that will help keep our Book Vending Machines stocked with our kids favorites for a long time! We appreciate your support!

8th Grade Band Holiday Tour

Holiday fun! The OMS 8th grade band continued their annual tradition of a holiday elementary tour. They played many different tunes that had kids dancing, clapping and singing in their seats. All of the performances ended with a special guest getting to conduct the Otsego Fight Song. What a fun way to get in the holiday spirit!

Little Dawgs Basketball

It's the little dawgs turn! Registration is now open for Little Dawgs Basketball! This fundamental skills program is a 6-week program that takes place on Saturday mornings for boys and girls Kindergarten-2nd grade! Our WatchD.O.G.S. program is officially underway! “Dads” (or dad-like figures) who are interested in signing up to volunteer for a full or half day should contact Angela Bender (abender@otsegops.org) or Jen Knight (jknight@otsegops.org) via email to schedule a date.

When you volunteer, you will receive a schedule for the day that allows you to help out in different classrooms doing a wide range of activities (reading a story, working with a child 1:1 on work, playing a game with a small group). You will also have scheduled time on the playground and lunchroom to interact with students and be a positive role model for them. We need a current background check on file before you can volunteer.
