Building a Strong Academic Foundation: How We Can Support Our Students Together
Dear Franklin Academy Families,
As we move forward into the school year, I want to take a moment to focus on the importance of building a solid academic foundation for our students. At Franklin Academy, we are dedicated to creating a learning environment that not only prepares our students academically but also instills lifelong habits that will support their success in any endeavor they choose.
I encourage each of you to consider how we, as a team, can support your child’s academic journey. Simple routines like setting aside quiet time for study, creating structured homework habits, and maintaining open communication about academic goals can make a world of difference. We’ve seen firsthand how a strong partnership between home and school can empower our students to reach new heights.
As always, I am here to support you and your family in any way I can. Please do not hesitate to reach out to discuss how we can work together to prioritize academic growth and success for every student at Franklin Academy.
Your proud principal,
Sergio Delgado

Franklin Academy Tardiness Procedure Reminder
Punctuality is key to a successful learning environment, and we encourage all students to arrive on time to each class. Here’s a quick reminder of our school’s tardiness procedure:
5-Minute Transition: Students have a 5-minute window to transition between classes. This time helps students arrive punctually, ready to engage in learning.
Tardiness Policy: Students who arrive late to class without a valid pass will be marked as tardy. Frequent tardies may impact students’ grades and participation, so please remind your child to move promptly between classes. Any student in the hallway without a pass after the bell rings will receive a Saturday detention.
Support for Timeliness: If your child faces any challenges with punctuality, please encourage them to reach out to their teacher or counselor for support in building time-management habits.
Thank you for reinforcing the importance of punctuality at home. With your support, we can ensure a focused and productive learning environment for all our students.
