Congratulations to the Holloway family on the birth of their first baby, Noe Alexander Holloway! Noe was born on August 23rd weighing in at 7lbs, 5oz. All are doing great and a little tired. We look forward to Mr. Holloway coming back and having lots of baby stories and photos this week.

Last year we started offering a black TWB jacket. This is different from a letter jacket and available for everyone. Cost is $70. If interested in ordering, click the button below. Accounts that are not current and paid for the 2024-25 fees will not be eligible to order.

WISD planned one of the PSAT boot camps around your schedule!!! The date is September 21st. This is the only date in the fall that does not conflict with a contest.

THERE ARE ALSO SAT & ACT dates in the Spring that you can sign up to attend. These are great tools to have prior to the test. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH!!! Taking standardized tests for college admissions without attending one of these targeted "Boot Camps" would be like going to a concert, contest or audition without attending a rehearsal. We want the best for you, so we have provided the BEST opportunities. Take advantage of them.

Also, students on free/reduced lunch kids are free if they follow the registration steps!

ELIGIBILITY SIMPLIFIED - DO YOUR HOMEWORK, TURN IT IN, STUDY FOR TESTS, RETAKE TESTS IF NEEDED TO PASS.

• Lose eligibility = below 70 in any non AP/PreAP/Dual/advanced academic course.
• Loss of eligibility is 3 weeks. You can regain if passing ALL courses at the next progress report (all is outlined in the link below).
• There is an eligibility hit at the 6 weeks progress report and the 9 weeks grading term. This is the only time this happens within 3 weeks of each other all year. After that it is every 9 weeks.
  
• You can lose eligibility at the first 6 weeks (in 3 weeks).
• You can lose eligibility every 9 weeks.
• Advanced courses and college classes to not count towards eligibility; however, you have to pass these courses for credit towards graduation.
• 6 weeks progress report for first eligibility check is Friday, September 20th. You MUST be passing in order to keep eligibility to participate.
• ALL students are eligible regardless of grades during school breaks (FALL BREAK).
