Congratulations Class of 2021
Our Graduation Team, City of Pembroke, McDonalds, PAC, Savannah Inert, and BCS did a fabulous job!
We appreciate your attendance at graduation! It was a packed house and many from the community came to support this event. It was an awesome day!

Important Dates for Grades 9 - 11
May 24
- Grades 9 - 11 Exams 3rd (8:05) & 4th block (9:45) morning exams
- Half Day - 11:25 Dismissal
May 25
- Grades 9 - 11 Exams 1st (8:05) & 2nd (9:45) regular times
- Half Day - 11:25 Dismissal
May 25 - Last Day of School for Students
Exam Check In & Check Out Information for Monday & Tuesday
If your student does not arrive at school at 8:00 AM, they must check in with Ms. Brown in the attendance office upon arrival.
If your student is checking out after their 3rd block exam on Monday or their 1st block exam on Tuesday, they must have the following:
- A note from the parent/guardian with their name, the date, time they are checking out, your name, your signature, and your contact number
We WILL NOT accept phone calls, phone messages, faxes, text messages, or any other type of communication for a check out. Students MUST have a NOTE from the parent/guardian or the parent/guardian must COME TO THE SCHOOL and physically check them out.
Students, unless it is an emergency, will remain in their testing area until the end of the block.
Please check your students exam schedule, listed above, and plan accordingly.
REMEMBER, Monday and Tuesday are half days for the high school. Buses will run and students must be picked up at 11:25. A grab and go lunch will be provided.

Final Report Cards
Please check your email in Power School to ensure it is correct. If you need to update, please email or call Ms. Shadrick, kshadrick@bryan.k12.ga.us.
If you do not have an email or receive your report card, call the school and we will make sure you receive your students grades.
Summer School
Transportation and lunch will be provided.
If someone has not already contacted you, be looking for a phone call this week!
Letters will be coming to your house, those need to be returned by May 25th.
Mr. Justin Covington, jcovington@bryan.k12.ga.us will be the summer school coordinator, you may direct all questions to him.
As a high school student, it is so important for them to make up these credits so they can graduate on time.
Summer Assignments
Driver's Forms and Work Permit Info for Summer
Student’s if you are going to get your Driver’s Permit or Driver’s License over the summer, please request your Certificate of Attendance from Ms. Blocker or Ms. Shadrick before May 21st. They will be ready for pick up in the front office by May 24th if turned in on time. These certificates will be good through the summer months.
Student’s if you are 15 or under and you have a job lines up for the summer, please see Ms. Blocker or Ms. Shadrick for information about a Work Permit. All minors have to have this permit to work (15 and under).
There is a $5.00 charge for each document.

Summer Camp Opportunity!
Parent Tip of the Week - Summer Survival For Teens
1. Don't turn off the alarm clock, just reset it.
2. Keep a routine.
3. Make a daily task list, but don't overdo it.
4. Find ways to reward, but keep it affordable.
5. Limit screen and social media time.
6. Keep the curfew and house guidelines
7. It's ok to keep the fun going all night long, but only once in a while.
8. Look for volunteer opportunities.
9. Encourage your teen to read.
10. Find ways to help your teen use and keep the math skills sharp.
