Online Registration: If you have not registered your student for next year, now is the time! AISD district offices (400 S. I-H 35 Frontage Rd) are offering enrollment support on the following days:
- Tuesday, July 16th from 9:00a - 4:00p
- Thursday, July 18th from 9:00a - 4:00p
- Saturday, August 10th from 9:00a - 6:00p

We will be setting up appointments to help families register at Galindo starting on July 24th. You can call the main line at 512-414-1756 starting on July 23rd to make an appointment to register your student.
Important Beginning of the Year Announcements:
Popsicles on the Patio: Join us this Thursday, August 1st from 5:30p - 7:00p for fun back to school event! We will have free back packs and school supplies, after school resources, and our new T-shirt pre-sales. Stop by to double check if you are registered and grab a yummy popsicle! Everything will be inside because it's too hot on the patio!
School Supplies: Here is a list of our school supplies for this year. You can also find some on the front door! Ms. Melanie will return on August 8th and she can help you out with supplies too!
Meet the Teacher: We are hosting a Meet the Teacher event on Friday, August 16th from 4:00 - 6:00p. This year we will have the same safety protocols where parents are welcome to be at school after they check in the office with their IDs (after 8:00a). However, we are not able to check in all parents during morning drop off, so we will continue to have the policy that parents must drop students off during morning arrival and are allowed past the office. This will be in place starting the first day of school. Meet the Teacher is your time to enter the building and talk to your child's teacher, drop off school supplies, and see the classroom! You don't want to miss it!!
First Day of School: The first day of school is August 20th! Our doors will open at 7:15a and all K-5 grade students will walk in to the cafeteria, while PK 4 goes to the gym and PK3 goes to the library. Teachers will pick up students at 7:30 and breakfast in the classroom will be served.
Bell Schedule: Every day, after the first day, our doors will open at 7:05 and students will be monitored by our Teacher Assistants. Teachers arrive at 7:30 and the instructional bell rings at 7:40a. Students are counted tardy at 8:00a and must be walked into the office by an adult as the doors will be locked. Pre-K and Kindergarten students begin walking out for dismissal at 3:05 and the bell rings for all other students at 3:10p.
