The Crimson Corps is working hard, preparing for another season of competitions and performances. With over 50 seniors and a challenging show to master, the students have been trying to nail down the music while knowing they are leaving a legacy behind.
Nixa Bands earns 2nd Place at the Ozark Marching Festival
๐ Congratulations to the members of the Nixa Crimson Corps on their performance at the Ozark Marching Festival on Saturday, Sept. 28. The band earned 2nd in their class and 2nd place overall! ๐
On Saturday, Oct. 5, the band performs at Missouri State Universityโs 'Ozarko' competition, performing at 4:30 p.m. ๐ถ๐ฅ๐บ
Nixa JROTC takes 3rd Place at ROTC Brigade Raider Championships
In the ROTC Brigade Raider Championships, the Nixa JROTC Raider Team competed against 34 other teams on September 28 at Camp Arrowhead, Missouri. The competition included a 5K run, cross country litter carry, rope bridge, and two obstacle courses. ๐
๐ The team earned third place in two events, third place overall, and a slot in the Raider Nationals competition at Fort Knox, Kentucky, in October! ๐ฅ

Girls Tennis are Nixa Invitational Tournament Champions
๐พ๐ฅ Congratulations to our girls tennis team, who won their second tournament championship of the season at the Nixa Invitational over the weekend! ๐พ๐ฅ
The High School Athlete of the Week is Jacob Grimm
๐ This weekโs Guaranty Bank Athlete of the Week is senior linebacker Jacob Grimm, who is โthe epitome of what it means to possess fortitude and grit.โ
Grimm is starting in his first varsity season and had a breakout performance in Nixa Football's week four victory over Carthage. He totaled 15 tackles (3 TFL) and one forced fumble, helping the Eagles post three-quarters of shutout football.
Grimm and the Eagles (4-0) enter week five against Lebanon this evening.
