Spring Picture Day - March 21st ๐ธ
Individual and Group/Class Pictures
Our Spring Picture Day is Friday, March 21st! Students will be doing their individual pictures, along with the group photos. Students will get picture proofs to purchase individual pictures, however, if you want to purchase a group photo of the class, they are $10 and due on the day of pictures. An envelope will be sent home Monday to return the group photo money.
Lockdown Drill and Tornado Drill - Wednesday ๐
March 12th
Our spring lockdown drill will be this Wednesday, March 12th. We will also be having our annual tornado drill.
S-T-E-M Night!! ๐ฌ๐งช๐
Thursday, April 3rd
Our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) night is Thursday, April 3rd, from 5:30-7:00 pm. We know everyone is super busy with family functions, sports practices, etc. It's a drop in event and you can stay the whole time, or as long as you can! Hope to see you there! Be on the lookout for a Remind message with a wonderful video about STEM night that our Student Council made!
Update on Clothes Bin ๐๐งฆ๐งค
Our Clothes Bin wasn't able to be delivered last week, but it should be here at BES by this Wednesday! Keep collecting and putting your items in bags and I will keep you posted when it arrives!! Thanks!!
Book Fair๐
April 21-25
We are excited about the Book Fair this spring! With Helene, we weren't able to do one in the fall, so we are looking forward to having this one! More info to come!
Kindergarten Registration ๐
April 29th 11:30am-12:30pm
If you have a future kindergartener or know of a family with a child that will start school this fall, please let them know about our Kindergarten Registration on Tuesday, April 29th from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. We look forward to meeting our new Bethel students!!

Word of the Week = reliable
We are continuing to work on communication and the study the word communicate for the month of March, but our word of the week is reliable. Reliable is an adjective/descriptive word that means the following:
- Being reliable means consistently matching your words to your actions.
- It shows those around you that you can keep your promises and be there for others when they need you most.
- Reliable people work hard and do what they say they will do.
- Employers want reliable workers.
Kids Heart Challenge ๐
Beginning April 23
The Kids Heart Challenge is a heart healthy challenge that we do annually. We will be having a program in the gym on April 23rd and more information will go home in early April.

Our Career Day is scheduled for Friday, April 4th. Thank you very much to those of you who will be volunteering your time to speak to our students about your career. We have several family members able to share and I'm sure our students will love every minute! Thanks again!

Congratulations to Miss Norris' Class!
Thank you for your hard work in ensuring your child is at school each day!! We know how important it is for students to attend each day and we appreciate the importance you are putting on your child's education! We are having a weekly drawing for a class that had perfect attendance for the week. Congratulations to Miss Norris' 4th grade class for being our first weekly winner! All the students in the class got a sweet treat for being here!! Teachers get their names in a hat to draw on Fridays when they have perfect attendance for the day.
