COLOR RUN IS SET....... MARK YOUR CALENDARS
We are thrilled to announce that the Coelho Middle School Color Run Fundraiser event is officially scheduled for June 5th! This exciting and colorful event will not only bring our school community together but also raise vital funds for important programs and resources. Participants can look forward to a fun-filled day of running, walking, and being doused in an array of vibrant colors at various color stations along the route. With music, food, and prizes, this event promises to be a memorable experience for students, families, and supporters alike. So mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and get ready to dash through a rainbow of hues while supporting Coelho Middle School.
In the next couple of weeks, we will have our Color Run Kickoff, where we will inform students about fundraising ideas and prizes. Get ready to lace up your running shoes and start brainstorming creative ways to raise money for a good cause. The Color Run Kickoff will be the perfect opportunity to get everyone excited and motivated to make this year's fundraiser a huge success. We hope to beat last year's total of over $30,000 raised.
With the support of the entire school community, we can make a difference and have a blast doing it. Let's come together and show our school spirit as we work towards our fundraising goals. Together, we can make this year's Color Run Fundraiser the best one yet!
Let's make this year's Color Run Fundraiser the best one yet! Here is our highlight video from years past.
Cell Phones Use in School
Over the past month, we have seen an uptick in students using cell phones when they are not permitted. This trend is concerning as it can be disruptive to the learning environment and may hinder students' ability to focus and engage in class. It is important for to address this issue proactively by reinforcing cell phone policies and reminding students of the importance of staying focused during class time and the reinforcement at home is greatly appreciated.
Chromebooks
Parents please ensure that your students are charging their Chromebooks on a nightly basis. Along with the day to day activities in class, students will be taking a series of assessments, (state and district) that require them to use their Chromebook. Without a charged device, students may not be able to access the necessary materials or complete the assessments in a timely manner. Additionally, having a fully charged Chromebook ensures that students can participate in any online activities or assignments that may be assigned throughout the day. By reminding students to charge their Chromebooks nightly, we can help them stay prepared and ready for any academic challenges that come their way. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring that your child is ready for success in the classroom.
