All-District Elementary Music Festival Hits the Right Notes!
Our very first All-District Festival was an amazing event! We are so proud of the hard work that the choirs from Joan Martin and Veterans, and the ukulele club from Liberty put into Saturday’s performances! These kids rocked it out! Way to Be Excellent On Purpose, Brickies!
2nd Annual "Brickie Bolt" Color Run Provides Afternoon of Fun for All!
Liberty PTO's Brickie Bolt 2024 was an amazing success! The weather was perfect and the color was flying! The LE PTO extends its extreme gratitude to all of the sponsors who helped make this event possible and the awesome Brickie families who participated!

Mayor's Youth Council
The Mayor's Youth Council seeks students ages 13-19 with exceptional character to advocate for youth perspectives in city government. Council members will gain insight into municipal government, learn about civic engagement, and inform their peers about council initiatives. Members will engage in community outreach with local organizations and spearhead youth-focused service projects.

Free Homework Hotline and Video chat for students in grades six through 12 covering math and science is provided by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Rose-Hulman has provided this service for more than a decade and asks that the link and homework hotline be shared with math and science departments, students, and parents. SAFE is an acronym for “Supporting Addiction Free Environments for Lake County” and is Lake County, Indiana’s coalition against substance, use, abuse and misuse in adults and adolescents. Our members consist of both individuals and organizations and make up our THREE PILLARS: PREVENTION (Education), SUPPORT (Treatment & Intervention), and ACCOUNTABILITY (Law Enforcement & Legislation).
