Preparations for the 2025 - 2026 school year have already begun at the Forked River School. Please note that due to the complexities of scheduling to meet the diverse needs of our elementary students, we are not able to guarantee the fulfillment of teacher requests. Please know that we will be making every effort to align the needs of each student with a quality academic environment.
If your child has medications at school, please call Mrs. Ward, our school nurse, at 609-971-2080 option 4 to schedule a pick-up date and time in June.
If your family is moving out of Lacey Township over the summer, please call the main office for school transfer assistance at 609-971-2080. Mrs. Webb handles our registration and transfer procedures.
We would like to express the importance of continuing to engage your child(ren) in academic activities over the summer break. In addition, it is important for parents and guardians to continue to read with their children and provide opportunities for them to exercise their literacy, writing, mathematical, social studies, science, and problem-solving skills each and every day. Please visit our website and click on the student links section for web-based academic games. This will ensure that each of our students will be well-prepared for their academic pursuits upon returning to school in September. As we all know, the most important teacher in a child’s life will always be his or her parent or guardian.
We hope everyone has a happy, healthy, and safe summer break. Enjoy!
Sincerely,
The Forked River School Staff
