Principal's Message
Happy Thanksgiving to all our Bruin Families,
I am so grateful for the many students, staff members and parents that work so hard to make "The Creek" such a wonderful place to be! I encourage you all to make time to reflect and share one good thing that has happened recently. May your time off be enjoyable and full of gratitude.
Students, these next few days are a wonderful time to get caught up on assignments and prepare for finals that are coming up.
Seniors-
Be sure to use this time to finalize your college applications. Reach out to Mrs. Ford in the College and Career Center if you need assistance.
Sincerely-
Mrs. Hummel

Join the District Advisory Committee
Call for Parent Volunteers: Join the District Advisory Committee (K-12)
Parents, we are looking for a parent volunteer to sit on the District Advisory Committee (DAC) for this school year. The purpose of this committee is to obtain community input on the development of our Local Control and Accountability Plan LCAP and other district wide documents and initiatives. The input provided will guide us in the creation of new goals and actions as well as guide how we allocate funds. The DAC Meetings will take place at the JAESC at 5:30 on November 27, 2023, February 12, 2024, and May 20, 2024. If you are interested in serving as our site representative, please contact the school office.
The Pacific Summer High School Institute is a two-week residential pre-college summer program designed for curious high school students to live, learn and grow at one of America’s top universities. During the two-week program, summer institute students will become immersed in cutting-edge topics and issues through learning environments focused on real-world, hands-on experiences in our labs, studios, fields and makerspaces.
For eligible Lodi Unified School District students, the Pacific Summer High School Institute tuition is 100% sponsored by the school district and registration is free for the families, as outlined below.
Step 1: Fill out the pre-registration form with your details. Please make sure to double-check your school ID. (This initial step is to verify your eligibility and in step 3, you will need to actually register into the summer institute and select a program and session.)
Step 2: Lodi Unified School District will check your eligibility for free registration into the program. Please note that it will take several days, up to a few weeks, to verify your eligibility (enrolled in Lodi USD; attendance, behavior, and academic patterns). Once your eligibility is verified, your parents will receive an email notification to register. (If you haven't received an email after a couple of weeks, please check your spam folder.)
Step 3: You can register into the program of your choice on the main Pacific Summer High School Institute enrollment portal. First, your parents need to create a family account and then register you into one of the Summer Institute programs. Please note that some programs are offered in Session 1 (June 3–13), some in Session 2 (June 18–28) and the school district funds one session per student. Make sure to select the Lodi USD Sponsored tuition option and put your school ID into the registration code on the check-out page. Please do not select the “Full Price” tuition as then your registration would be cancelled and you would have to register again.
