Attendance Expectations for Finals
It is expected that all students remain in class until the period is over. The office staff/administration will NOT interrupt a class to have a student released for any reason during this time. If you need to have your student released, please make arrangements for them to leave at passing period, not during class time. If a student finishes their exam early, we will not be able to release them. We want to respect all students during their exam time and allow them to have uninterrupted time to complete their exam. We strive for all students to continue to work hard in their classes and finish the semester strong.
Lost and Found
Please make sure you check the lost and found prior to leaving on Thursday, May 23rd, for any items you have misplaced. All items left after Friday, May 24th, will be discarded or donated to Habitat for Humanity.

Chromebook inspection/summer storage
Students and families!
Everyone must have their chromebook briefly inspected before departing for summer break!
Students whose guardians have registered for them to take it home over the summer may do so after inspection, or you may choose to have us store it for you over the summer, to pick up on picture day in August. Students whose guardians have not registered them to be taken home must return them to be stored and picked up in August. Failure to do so can result in a charge on your IC account until the chromebook is returned to school for storage (and the chromebook will be locked and unusable). Everyone will keep their charging cord at home and safe over the summer whether the device is being taken or not.
If a guardian has not yet completed the RUP acceptance in order for a student to keep their chromebook over summer, this process must be completed by end of day Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Instructions can be found at this link (and have been in several emails over the last few weeks).
General Details:
You should plan to bring your chromebook for inspection CHARGED ENOUGH TO TURN ON after your last final for which it is needed.
The chromebook you have must be checked out to you - if you have someone else's, you will still be expected to locate and bring yours. If you want to know what chromebook number is checked out to you, you can contact Ms. Barrett or stop by the library.
If you are able to have your chromebook reviewed/turn it in for storage on Monday or Tuesday of finals week (because you don't need it for the rest of finals), you will return your chromebook to the library.
If you are returning your chromebook on Wednesday or Thursday, you will return your chromebook in the commons once the last final you'll need it for is complete.
Chromebook collection in the commons will begin at 10:45 on Wednesday, May 22 (for those who don't need it 5th, 7th, or 8th and don’t have a 6th period). It will run until 2pm, so if you don't need it for Thursday's finals, return it before leaving Wednesday!
Chromebook collection in the commons will begin at 9:30 on Thursday, May 23, for those who don't need it 5th and don't have a 7th. It will run until 2pm, so anyone who still has theirs after 7th period can return it. If for some reason you do not return your chromebook during/after 7th on Thursday, you will be contacted and asked to return to school with it on Thursday or Friday; failure to do so can result in your chromebook being locked, even if you registered for permission to take it home during the summer.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email Ms. Barrett at carin.barrett@tsd.org

BHS Parking Permits
ALL students that drive to BHS are required to display a parking permit in their vehicle to park on campus. Please register your vehicle at the following link: http://bit.ly/bhspermit or use the QR code posted by the main office for your FREE parking permit (1st=free, if replacement is needed=$2.00/ea.) Once you have completed the form and it has been processed, you will be called to the office to pick up your permit. The permits are good until they graduate and will be turned in at that time.
Why is this necessary? For the students and staff safety we need information on every vehicle here at the school. Any vehicle without a permit or who is parked in violation of other school rules or laws may receive a Parking Violation from BHS. First offense is a $20.00 fine and fines go up for second and third violations. Payment must be made to the school’s Bookkeeping Office within 14 days after receiving the violation. Continual violations or a serious violation may result in loss of parking privileges at BHS. If you have any questions, please speak with SRO Deputy, Vince Mosley or Campus Security
