Wattles Park Elementary will be celebrating Black History Month during the month of February. Students will learn about black authors and illustrators, as well as famous black inventors, athletes, and entertainers that have made contributions to our culture. We have a class color day planned for Thursday, February 6th.

3rd Grade Red-Represents struggle

4th Grade Black-Represents strength and resilience

Our parent group, PTC, is hosting a Family Dance at Wattles Park on Saturday, February 8th from 5-7 pm. There will be a DJ, a hula hoop contest, food to purchase, and much family fun at this event. Cost is $2 per person or $10 family maximum.

Parents are able to buy carnations for delivery at school on February 14th. Pre-sales will be available at the Family Dance and an order form will be coming home soon in your child's folder. Cost is $2 per flower and they will be delivered by PTC to students and staff. Please submit the order form by February 11th.
