News & Notes...
- Testing Inspiration- I'm looking for thoughts on Friday afternoon assembly to "inspire" greatness and best effort for testing. Unfortunately, I couldn't get Analy Leadership to come for a rally. We could do an "incentive reveal" about stamp cards and the Wicked Slush visit. Is there something else we could still throw together? I had big dreams of putting together a staff Carpool Karaoke video to show featuring inspirational hits. Any chance we could record video clips Wednesday afternoon? Does anyone have fantastic inspirational song choices?
- Testing Next Week- Do you need anything? Schedule in the BHS Info Hub Folder. We will provide a folder for scratch paper & student login cards that will need to be checked out & returned to the office each day after testing to be locked up. We will also have gum & hard candies that you can give to students (please have students properly dispose of gum before leaving the classroom).
- Counseling Referrals- Do you have someone you think could benefit from counseling? We have a new counseling partnership with Side by Side available to students and they can continue to see students over the summer. Please let Karen or Sara know if you can think of someone who could use the extra support.
- Behavior- Please keep expectations high and discipline consistent as we move towards the end of the year. Please continue to hold students accountable for their behavior. Parents should be contacted if you are noticing behavior over and over. See Sara or Molly if you need assistance.
- Open House- If you have questions about Open House, please be sure to ask Sara or a teacher who has been here. It is a great opportunity to "showcase" the learning happening at BHS. We know we will have families and prospective parents shopping that night. It is important that we show all of the great things happening at BHS!
