Strength in Partnership
Dear Families,
As we celebrate achievements, reflect on feedback, and prepare for transitions, I’m reminded of the strength of our partnerships and the shared commitment to providing the best for our students.
This week is National Apprenticeship Week, and we are thrilled to celebrate a groundbreaking achievement: NBAPS proudly hosts eight of Minnesota’s first teacher apprentices in the Registered Apprenticeship Program for Teachers. This innovative initiative provides a paid, supported pathway into teaching, addressing teacher shortages while enhancing our ability to serve students with excellence.
Thank you to the nearly 350 families who completed our Family Satisfaction Survey. Over 90% expressed satisfaction with their child’s education and our relationship-focused start to the school year. Your feedback affirms we’re moving in the right direction and provides valuable insights for continued growth. You can view the survey results here.
We also want to recognize Officer Mike Nelson for his impactful work building a strong School Resource Officer (SRO) Program. As he transitions to new opportunities, we extend our gratitude and look forward to welcoming Officer Duane Southworth into this vital role, ensuring safe, supportive schools for all.
As Thanksgiving approaches, I’m deeply thankful for the privilege of serving as Superintendent and partnering with students, staff, families, and our community to help every student thrive.
SKOL, Vikings!
Sara Paul
Superintendent
