Dues for 2023 are $325 per home (invoices were mailed in December).

Dues are payable from January 1 - March 1st without penalty. You can mail your payment to the office, drop your payment off at the drop box located near the front door of the Hanford Clubhouse, or bring it into the Hanford Office during normal business hours..

Payment plans are available. Arrangements and the first payment must be made by the same deadline of march 1st to avoid late fees.

The Sunflower Board approved the following General Fund Budget for the 2023 Fiscal Year (Jan 1 - Dec 31, 2023) at the January 18, 2023 Board Meeting. Please see below for the Approved Budget Summary. The General Fund is used for the day to day operations of the Subdivision.

WHEN IT SNOWS - SNOW REMOVAL

Help the Association and your neighbors with snow removal by following a few simple suggestions:

• Please move your car from the street if a snowstorm is predicted. Parked cars prohibit the plow from being able to plow curb to curb. Police will ticket cars parked on streets during snow emergencies.
• Please do not put snow in the street. Shoveling or blowing the snow into the street creates ruts as it freezes and thaws, making the road more hazardous.
• Plowing is done if the snowfall is two inches or greater.
• Salting the entire subdivision is NOT part of our contract. We salt select intersections each time the streets are plowed. (Wayne County spreads sand on icy roads when it deems it necessary.)
• For a “normal” snowfall (2-4”), plowing will not begin until the majority of the storm is over. The plow company then has 24 hours to complete the plowing.
• For a large snowfall (over 6”), plowing will take place throughout the storm to try to keep up with the snow. The plow company will need additional time to clear the snow (48-60 hours).
• The snow removal company is not responsible for damage to sprinkler heads or lawns that are not clearly marked.
• Tree branches that overhang the street create a problem for the plow and they are not able to get close to the curb. The plow will go around the area and leave it unplowed if there isn’t clearance.
• The plow tries to get as close as it can to the curb but staking your property will let drivers know where the curb is, especially if you live on a curve or a cul-de-sac.
• When the plow comes through there will be snow plowed back into your driveway or piled up at the end of your driveway.
• Group Mailbox Members, it is your responsibility to clear out your group mailbox and keep it free from snow and ice. Maybe those who share the box could take turns with that responsibility so that everyone can get their mail in a timely manner. If the area around the box is not safe for the mail carrier, mail will not be delivered.
• It is your responsibility to shovel out fire hydrants near your home for easy access. Plus, it’s also a township ordinance that all fire hydrants must be shoveled out.

Help the neighborhood have a smooth-running snow removal season by following these tips. And please be patient. It takes time to plow the entire subdivision.
