HOMEROOM PARENTS NEEDED
Welcome to the 2023-2024 academic year! If you are a returning parent to the school, you are already familiar with the important role a Homeroom Parent plays in a child’s classroom. And if you are new to Arrowhead, welcome! … and let us explain what being a Homeroom Parent is all about!
Two parents are typically selected for each classroom. The primary responsibility of these two “Homeroom Parents” is to organize and plan the classroom parties throughout the year. Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade have five parties (Fall, Winter, Valentine, Spring and Fun Day/ Class Picnic), while 3rd and 4th grade have three parties during the year (Fall, Winter and Fun Day/ Class Picnic).
If you wish to join our team of Homeroom Parents, please email us no later than Friday, September 22nd with your students’ grade(s) and teacher(s).
Thank you, and here’s to a great school year! The AHSA 2023-2024 Homeroom Parent Coordinators,

WATCH D.O.G.S. ® (Dads Of Great Students) began in 1998 in a single school in Springdale, Arkansas and has since grown into a nationally recognized program that has brought hundreds of thousands of fathers and father figures into the school classrooms and hallways across the country, creating millions of hours of “in school” volunteer time and having a tremendously positive impact on the educational process.
