Principal's Message
Good evening, Bruin families-
We have a competition between early and late lunch students to see who can keep the campus the cleanest! Please encourage your student to do their part by cleaning up after themselves. Check out the video below to learn more.
Seniors-
Be sure to use this time to finalize your college applications. Reach out to Mrs. Ford in the College and Career Center if you need assistance.
Sincerely-
Principal
Julie Hummel
Native American Heritage Month
Native American Heritage Month is observed annually in the month of November. During this month, we pay tribute to the rich traditions and contributions of Native Americans and Indigenous people and honor the influence they have had on the advancement of the United States.
We would like to highlight our Native American and Indigenous students, families, and staff throughout the month. If you would like to be highlighted, please respond to this short survey.
Staff Member's Of The Week
Mr. Drew Dorroh
Orchestra Teacher
Mrs. Mira Lowery
The Staff Members of the Week are Mr. Drew Dorroh and Mrs. Mira Lowery
Mr. Drew Dorroh teaches at three different schools every day. He has been at Bear Creek for six years and offers the chance to take orchestra and piano classes. He provides students with the opportunity to expand their musical talents and helps them put on concerts to show their abilities and hard work to family and friends.
Mrs. Mira Lowery is a dedicated RSP teacher and is always trying to improve our school. She is the advisor of the Creek Crazies, the Senior Class advisor has Credit Recovery after school, is a member of the School Site Council, Bell Schedule committee and union representative for our school. More importantly she is a fantastic coworker who is always there to provide support and lend an ear when you might simply need to vent. We are very lucky to have Mrs Lowery!
Bruins, when you see Mr. Drew Dorroh and Mrs. Mira Lowery on campus please congratulate them on being Staff Member of the Week and thank them for all that they do for the BC Community.

Attention Seniors:
Financial Aid Resources
The FAFSA and CADAA are scheduled to open on December 1, 2024 for the 2025-26 academic year. The delay from the customary October 1 opening day is to allow the US Department of Education time to perform beta testing and eliminate issues.
November is a great time to encourage your FAFSA families to create their FSA IDs, allowing time to fix any issues if they should arise. (And, yes, there have been some issues with FSA IDs in the month of October).
