Greetings Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to North Brandywine Middle School. We are looking forward to meeting your student and collaborating with you so that your student has the best experience possible in the Coatesville Area School District. My name is Dr. Eugenia Roberts, and I am the proud Principal at North Brandywine Middle School along with Dr. Wilson Lambert, Jr. the Assistant Principal. Together, we will try to lay the foundation that will help to propel your student to the next level and enhance their mind to start thinking of a few careers that they may want to pursue.
On June 4th and 5th , we held an open house for students to tour the building. Thank you if you attended the Open House. If you were unable to attend the Open House, please be advised that all students will receive a tour the first day of school.
Back to School Night: NBMS will welcome parents on Thursday, September 12 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Parents will have the opportunity to meet teachers and they will explain their plan for the year.
School District Calendar: The first day of school is August 26th. Regular school attendance is one of our goals this year because students cannot learn if they are not in school. Attached, please find the CASD calendar. We kindly ask that you schedule vacations in accordance with the school calendar. Please note that students who are absent are responsible to make up work that has been missed.

Annual Technology Insurance Fee (TIF): Taking care of a computer can be a big responsibility. Safeguards are in place to protect the district’s investment and to reassure parents/guardians and students. Parents/guardians will be responsible to pay an annual $40 technology insurance fee, per student, with a cap of $100 for three or more students. The TIF provides an inexpensive solution for parents/guardians to lessen the financial burden if an accident or theft occurs. Parents or guardians with an unpaid TIF will be liable for the full cost of the repair or replacement of the Chromebook, or cost for repairs resulting from accidental damage. Payment can be made on RevTrak at this link https://coatesvillearea.revtrak.net/casd- technology/ or by cash, check or money order. If you do not have the finances to pay the TIF, you can apply for a fee waiver by clicking this link compass benefits. Once approved, you must go into RevTrak and if eligible, your payment will state zero; however, you must complete the additional information.
Home Access: Please make sure that you know how to access Home Access because this is where you will find student schedules, grades, and report cards. Friendly Reminder: Parents must go to Home Access on the district page and register for an account. The log in is the first and last name(no dot in between) and the password is: Studentsfirstname2024 (example: Jaclyn2024)
Student Schedules: Students schedules are in progress. We will send you an e-mail to look at Home Access when the schedules are complete.
Guidance Counselor: Ms. Dzdezy is our Guidance Counselor; however, she works limited days over the summer. If you have a questions, please send Ms. Dzedzy an e-mail (dzedzyj@casdschools.org) and she will respond when available. Ms. Dzedzy will return full-time on August 12th.
Supply List: Attached, please find the student supply list. We encourage families to purchase a TI-30XS calculator and a refillable water bottle.
7th Grade Sports: 7th grade students can play one of the following sports this Fall: Field Hockey, Football, Girls and Boys Soccer, and Cross County
Online Registration for FALL SPORTS NOW OPEN!!
For anyone interested in participating in a FALL sport in grades 7-12 MUST register through FAMILY ID and there are a number items needed prior to being able to participate. The first few items necessary to participate include registering for the sport online as well as receiving the proper medical clearance to participate through the PIAA Comprehensive Initial Pre-Participation/Physical Exam DATED after May 1st, 2024. Grades 7-8: Middle School:

This online form will need to be completed BEFORE the student-athlete is marked approved for FALL sport participation.
