ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL REMINDERS
Parents, please drop your child(ren) off on the curb (far right side), so they can safely walk into the building. Help us put SAFETY FIRST!
As your child heads to school, leave them with a positive thought or phrase, so they can start the day strong!
DISMISSAL
We have adjusted our staggered dismissal groups & times to ensure a safer, faster exit.
3:50- Walkers (all grades)
3:55- Bus Riders (all grades)
4:00- Car Riders (6th grade)
4:05- Car Riders (7th & 8th grade)
Please remember to drive slowly out of the campus, and follow the direction of the staff members directing traffic.
All scholars are expected to cross the street at the light! Parents, please do not encourage your children to run across the street through traffic to get in your car. This is for their safety. We will help guide them to the traffic signal to cross. It will take an extra minute or so, but safety is always FIRST! Thank you for your help with this expectation. Let's work together for their safety.
CROSSING GUARD REQUEST
We want to thank our amazing staff members for assisting us with helping students to cross the street safely. We have put in a request with the City of Dallas to provide us an official crossing guard. We will keep you posted on their response. Thank you for your support!
Dress Code Reminder
Please remember, scholars MUST wear their polo & khakis daily.
They may NOT wear:
- Crocs (shoes)
- Hats/Caps
- Pullovers/Sweaters on top of their polo
- Hoods (on head)
ALLOWABLE ATTIRE:
- Zip-up jackets (cannot wear hood in the building)
- Tennis shoes
FREESTYLE FRIDAYS
ARSA offers Freestyle Fridays where scholars can pay $2 to wear a pair of jeans and a shirt. On Freestyle Fridays, scholars are ONLY allowed wear JEANS & SHIRT (no crop shirts or spaghetti straps)!
IF YOUR CHILD COMES TO SCHOOL OUT OF DRESS CODE, WE WILL CONTACT YOU TO BRING THEM APPROPRIATE ATTIRE.
Did You Miss the Physicals?

We are AVID at ARSA!
We are very excited to be on track to become an AVID Site of Distinction at ARSA! We believe in the AVID mission to close the opportunity gap, so scholars can be prepared for college, careers, and life.
FAMILY AVID MOMENT:
Watch this YouTube video to understand AVID's impact on your child's future and how it can increase their chances to fulfill their college and career: dreams. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybaW1PBgMyo
Please look out for details for our upcoming AVID Site Team meetings. Parents and students are encouraged to attend to learn more about AVID!
ARSA SEL Corner
SEL Corner
We want our Rangers to have positive attitudes and manage their emotions as they interact with others and begin to find their identities! At ARSA, our mission is everyday we develop the whole child. This begins with implementing strong SEL practices!
FAMILY SEL MOMENT:
Social-emotional learning is about helping your child learn and apply the skills and understanding needed to manage their feelings. When your child is struggling with something new this week (no matter what it is), remind them of a time they worked hard to overcome obstacles. By shining a light on your child’s past successes, their path forward is a bit clearer.
