It's that time of year again....SKS March Madness!!!! Get ready to root for your favorite college teams!!! Brackets open THIS SUNDAY, March 12!

Entry is $10 per bracket. 50% of proceeds go to our winner and the other 50% to SKS TAP (Tuition Assistance Program).

Bracket entry starts on Sunday, March 12th at 11:00pm EDT and closes on Thursday, March 16th at 12:00pm EDT.

How to participate:

Step 1: Please visit https://stkatharineofsiena.factsmgtadmin.com/form/hpLFKZRFt?authToken=__token__ to pay for your brackets online. You may also send payment in cash or check to school in an envelope. Please label your envelope with "[NAME] and March Madness." Don't forget to include your name so we know that you've paid for your bracket(s).

Step 2: Please visit https://www.pickhoops.com/SKSMarchMadness to complete your bracket(s). You will be asked for your name and email address and to create a new user password for yourself. You will then be asked for the group password, which is crowley.

Be sure to get your brackets in early! Feel free to enter more than one bracket and share the link with friends and family! The more the merrier!

SKS Home and School Association

In my home we are enjoying the daily videos and prayers from the Holy Heroes Lenten Adventure. One activity we have started is a Crown of Thorns to help visualize the concept of making sacrifices during Lent. We went to the craft store and picked up a simple wreath and then stuck in 40 toothpicks as thorns. Throughout Lent each time we make a sacrifice for Jesus- doing something that is hard or that we don't want to do OR showing a loving or kind action towards someone we remove a toothpick making Jesus' crown less painful.

Thank you for preparing your students at home for Terra Nova testing by ensuring they are well rested and eating a good breakfast each day. In addition, they have been well prepared by their teachers and I know testing will go smoothly. Wishing you all a wonderful week.
