Mustang Minute
Week of September 2, 2024
Welcome to the Mustang Minute!
As fellow parents of Mill Street Students, Home & School encourages and facilitates a cooperative partnership among our students, parents/guardians, and school staff and administration. H&S is our school’s version of a PTO or PTA, and our goal is to support and enhance the school experience of each student. There are no dues--just an open invitation to stay informed and get involved at whatever level you can. We look forward to and appreciate your involvement!
Please email us at millstreeths@gmail.com with any questions, ideas or concerns!

School Reminders
- Late students in the morning: Parents, please walk your student into the building and sign them in. A parent is required to sign their student in at the main office with a time and signature. Do not drop your student off and have them walk in alone without a parent. Students are expected to be in their classroom at 8:10 am, with instructional learning beginning promptly at 8:15 am. Thank you.
- If your student is being picked up for an appointment or leaving school early for the day, please email their teacher and notify them of the pick-up time and whether your student will or will not be returning to school that day. It is important that the teacher knows the student's schedule so they can plan accordingly. Please bring an ID with you if you're signing a student out early or leaving for an appointment. Thank you.
- If your student is sick or will be absent, please report the absence via Infinite Campus or call the health office at (630) 420-6355 and speak to Mrs. Robinson. You may leave a voicemail if calling outside of school hours.
- Label your student's belongings: Please label your student's items such as jackets, lunch boxes, water bottles, etc. If your item is labeled correctly, we can return it to your student properly. Students can check for missing items at the lost & found table located near the gym & multipurpose room (MPR).
