State Testing Begins
Next week students will begin state testing. They have been working hard all year to master learning standards, as you can see here. State tests are ultimately a celebration of what they know at the end of the year. Please help us to prepare your children for testing in the next few weeks with a good night of sleep and some words of encouragement. As always, we will provide breakfast beginning at 7:15 and a comfortable, quiet environment for testing. Good luck, students!
State Soloists
Congratulations to this quartet. Drake, Maddie, and Hannah traveled to Ellensburg to compete in the WIAA/WMEA state Solo and Ensemble competition last Saturday. What an honor to be amongst the top 20 musicians in your instrument in the state! All soloists performed excellently and their accompanist, Mrs. Hille did a great job supporting them.
Recess Fun!
A collection of our happy elementary kids hanging out at recess and
enjoying each other's company on a beautiful Washtucna day!
Staff Appreciation Week
This week our staff will be appreciated and celebrated. While our students have been learning and growing, so has our staff. They deserve all of the appreciation coming their way next week. Want to write a letter of appreciation or send a card? I am sure they would appreciate hearing from any of you about how they have impacted your children!
Bloomsday Club
Mr. Christianson, Damien, Graham, Jayden, and Harley (and sometimes Alivia) have been working really hard to prepare for this weekend's Bloomsday race. Good luck on Sunday! Can't wait to see the tshirt!
