We also kindly ask that you verify your transportation plans for getting your children to and from school.

We encourage all families to set up their Infinite Campus Parent Portal. This platform enables you to access your child's grades, pay school fees, update contact information, and verify transportation details. Setting up your account will provide you with valuable tools to stay connected with your child's education.

• Go to the District’s website: www.wausauschools.org
• Choose Parents at the top of the page, then choose Infinite Campus Portal
• Select Campus Parent
• Select New User (Bottom of the white panel titled Wausau School District)
• Enter the Activation Code to complete the registration process (If you do not have your Activation Code, please email Patty Knapp at pknapp@wausauschools.org)
• Create your own username and password. Once you have established your own username and password, the activation code listed below will no longer be valid.

We kindly ask that you take a moment to refresh your child's information in Infinite Campus. It is important to complete this yearly task to ensure we have the most current details regarding our students. Please make sure to finish this before Open House.

Directions for the Annual Update

• Log into the Parent Portal
• Click ‘More’ on the left hand side menu.
• Click on ‘Online Registration that appears to the right of the menu.

Click the ‘Start’ button for ‘Existing Student Registration 24-25’

Your child(ren) will be listed. Click the Start button and follow the prompts.

Current information that is in Infinite Campus will auto populate. You will need to go through all areas and correct the areas if there are any changes needed. Some areas do not carry over from the previous year and will need to be updated. Continue through all tabs and click the button. This is replacing the paper form ‘Census Verification’ to improve efficiency and accuracy in updating information to Infinite Campus.

Meal Account Online Portal

Linqconnect.com is an online portal that provides parents with more than just a method to make payments to student meal accounts. LINQ Connect also provides parents the opportunity to:

• Manage multiple student accounts within a household under one LINQ Connect account
• Monitor student meal and snack purchases
• Receive email notifications for low account balances
• Schedule automatic recurring payments
• Transfer funds between students Meal prices for the 2024-2025 school year

Welcome back and I hope you all had a fun and relaxing Summer Break!

Here are just a few health reminders as we get going for our 2024-2025 school year.

Please remember: It is the policy of the Wausau School District to provide a safe environment for students with known, diagnosed food allergies that are likely to result in an anaphylactic reaction or serious food intolerance. Foods containing nuts (including coconut) are permitted only in the cafeteria.

When bringing in treats for the classroom please remember to follow our new policy - they need to be store bought and come individually packaged, nut free, with an intact ingredient label attached.

Also keep in mind WSD has a policy on latex when sending goody bags or bringing balloons for special occasions: Latex is a potentially serious health threat for some people. Allergic reactions to latex can range from mild to fatal. The Wausau School District is a latex-safe environment. Latex products (including latex balloons) should not be used in any school building.

If your student may need to take medication here at school a Medication Consent form can be found online on the district website, or picked up here at school.

If your student is ill we have a Communicable Disease Protocol that we follow, and if not feeling well we ask that you please keep your student home.
