Monday, December 3rd - Regent Rehearsal - 4:30 - 7:00 - Band Room
Regent WG Will have rehearsals on Monday 12/3, Wednesday 12/5, Monday 12/10, Wednesday 12/12 of this month from 4:30 - 7:00 in the HS Band Room. We will continue to work on technique and developing staging for the show.
Tuesday, December 4th - Imperial Rehearsal and Floor Painting - FHS Band Room
Imperial WG Will have rehearsal on Tuesday 12/4, Thursday 12/6, Saturday 12/8, Tuesday 12/11, and Thursday 12/13 of this month from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. Following rehearsal on 12/4, we will paint the floor to prepare for staging. We don't need everyone to stay to help take care of that, but if a few members could stay to knock it out, that would be great.
Tuesday, December 4th - Eminence Rehearsal - 6:30 - 9:00 - Bulldog Arena
Eminence WG will meet on Tuesday 12/4, Friday 12/7, Tuesday 12/11, and Friday 12/14 of this month. Tuesdays will be from 6:30 - 9:00 and Thursdays will be from 4:30 - 7:00. For 12/4 we will meet in the gym to continue working on staging.
Wednesdays December 5th and 12th - Cadet Clinics
We will continue to introduce our youngest and newest members to equipment and movement technique these two Wednesdays from 4:30 - 6:30. Any student grades 6-9th is eligible to attend. A parent meeting will follow the clinic on the 12th at 6:30 p.m. in the HS Band Room.
Wednesday, December 5th - Brownie Fundraiser at Fuzzy's Taco Shop - 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Join us for a dessert fundraiser at Fuzzy's Taco Shop off of Joyce Blvd in North Fayetteville. We will be selling Brownies and Floats for $5 and all proceeds go directly to the color guard program.
Monday, December 17th - Guard Class and Band Final - 8:50 - 10:20 a.m.
The band and guard finals will occur on this date. Fall guard members should plan to have all of their Fall technique block passed off by then. Students who do will receive 100% on their final. Guard students who are also in band do not have to take the band final this semester. Students may submit pass off videos via Google Classroom or perform them in class for staff.
Tuesday, December 18th - Home Show Meeting - 5:00 p.m. - HS Band Room
Our final Home Show Meeting of the semester will be on Tuesday the 18th at 5:00 p.m. We will be finalizing plans for fundraising, merchandise, volunteer placements, and logistics. If you are interested in attending to learn more about what this event looks like, please plan to do so!
Thursday, December 20th - Sunday, January 6th - Winter Break - District Wide
We will not have any scheduled rehearsals or events during this break. That being said, students are required to take equipment home and should plan to spend some time working on new technique exercises and any choreography or elements introduced for their 2019 Winter Programs.
