Dear Panther Nation Families,

It has been a "Pawfect" seeing all our Panther students throughout the building. We got to launch into September with our all school field trip to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science where each grade level go individualized programming and excitement.

Our school wide called PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) system, recognizes students using common language to show our Panther P.R.I.D.E. values in all spaces. Our P.R.I.D.E. values are:

Prepared - being ready for what’s next in all spaces

Respect - Caring and thoughtful words and actions toward others in all spaces

Integrity - doing what is right when no one is looking

Dedicated - Persevere and not give up when things are hard

Excellence - Doing your best at all times

Students earn Panther Paw tickets for demonstrating PRIDE behavior throughout the school. Then students can shop in their classroom store and at our large Paw-Mart School store.

It's that time again for our largest fundraiser of the year with World's Finest Chocolate. We are thrilled to launch this event that supports student resources, projects, our PBIS system, recess equipment, activities/field trips, as well as supplies and trainings and celebrations for our certified staff to enhance our student learning experiences.

We need you to join the PTO. The PTO is seeking to find a Panther Parent Ambassador to represent each classroom at Rose Hill. Please talk with your students teacher and let them know if you are interested in representing their classroom and can attend monthly PTO Meetings.

VOLUNTEER DAYS: Please help the Rose Hill PTO prepare for the September 21st - Adams 14 ACHS Homecoming Parade on our Volunteer Days (Sign in at Office and meet in Modular)

September 13th 8:00-11:00 AM

UPCOMING EVENTS - JOIN US FOR THE ADAMS 14 HOMECOMING PARADE:

• September 21st: Please join represent Rose Hill Elementary represent at the ACHS Parade. Rose Hill would like to take home the trophy the most SPIRIT!
• All participants should wear either a Rose Hill Shirt or Blue and Yellow Shirt to represent Rose Hill
• Arrive: 8:00 AM at 64th and Olive Street
• Parade begins at 9:00 AM and will end at Adam City High School

The start of a school year is wonderful. Students should show off their smile at our Fall Picture Day! Its is so fun to see how much students grow throughout the year and K-6.

VISITORS:

All visitors need to use the front entrance only for entry, ring the bell and present a photo ID and scanned through our school safe RAPTOR system! If at any point you are coming in the front entrance of the school building please do not hold the door for the person behind you as we need to screen each person individually before allowing access to the building. If there is someone behind you feel free to say: "The office will need to buzz you in as a safety precaution."

END OF DAY:

We kindly ask that if you need to pick up your student(s) from school early, please arrive before 3:00 PM. After 3:00 PM, our staff is focused on ensuring a safe and organized dismissal process. Your cooperation in adhering to this request would greatly support our efforts in maintaining a secure environment for all students. The front office is often busy and not always fully staffed at this time. We are not able to guarantee calling your student down in a timely manner.

Arrival and Dismissal HUG and GO:

• Please only use the main driveline when dropping students off or picking students up at the front driveline.

• PLEASE Do Not enter the school parking lot to drop students off or pick up students!

• Please keep students in the car until you make it to thefront of the school with our staff where we can support the front 3-4 cards for safety reasons. We prefer students to exit their car on the closest sidewalk side.

• Parents should drop off students and continue to drive. No parking is allowed in the hug and go lane.

• Parents please do not exit your car.

• Parents please avoid crossing through the driveline without our front driveline attendant for safety reasons.

• If you need to park please use the parent parking lot!

During the Day:

• If you are visiting during you MUST park in the Visitor spaces or parent parking lot.
• Do Not Park in the driveline/Firelane - this pathway must be open at all times
• Adults must check in with the Raptor system at the front office for entry into the building
