Hi, I'm Fish
or Andrew. Your pick.
This is what I look like.
Basically
I'm 19 and live on campus at IUPUI. I live in University Tower on the 10th Floor. The view is nice, as I can see all the buildings including Chase Tower. I graduated Southport High School in 2015. I wanted to do something in psychology but ultimately decided I was more interested in the subject of psychology rather than being a psychologist so I decided to be a social studies teacher which will also allow me the opportunity to learn and teach other subjects.
Indiana Youth Group
Open from 3-9 on Wednesdays and Thursdays and 3-11 on Fridays, IYG is a safe space for LGBT youth (ages 12-20) to be themselves and meet other youth. Youth are expected to follow rules and no drugs or alcohol are permitted on property. Cisgender and straight allies are welcome.
IYG is a fun and positive environment and I go there as often as I can to make new friends and meet a diverse group of people. I recommend anyone who is an ally or a member of the LGBT community to visit and maybe even become a regular visitor. More information located at indianayouthgroup.org
My Fam
The fella all the way to the left is my step dad. He's been in my life since I was 4 and has been a great dad to me. The little guy to the right is my brother. He's very funny and hanging out with him is never dull. The tall guy next to him is me. Hello. The next person is my sibling Nadine. They are very intelligent and we get along well.. most of the time. The littlest guy is my brother Aiden. He can be rowdy but he's cute so I let it slide. Then to the furthest right is my mom. She is the one person who has been there for me my entire life and I love her very much. I love my family and even though we don't all always get along I wouldn't change a thing about any one of them.
IUPUI
I love IUPUI. The campus is gorgeous and it has such a positive atmosphere. I rarely feel like I can't be myself here and all of these things make me feel like I can do anything I seek out to do. Being at IUPUI, I feel motivated enough to tackle any assignment and confident enough to do well in all of my classes. As a result, I don't have to stress out worrying about doing well which allows me to have fun, make friends, and be positive which will help me do even better. It circles around and that's part of why IUPUI is so important to me.
I'm confident IUPUI will give me the tools necessary to build a successful career in education or whatever else I end up wanting to do.
