2025 SCOY Nominations and more

We are now accepting nominations for our NCSPRA School Communicator of the Year Award. NCSPRA is proud to recognize an outstanding person as the winner of this award, which is the highest individual honor that NCSPRA presents each year.

To be eligible, candidates must be current NCSPRA members, hold a professional membership in the National School Public Relations Association, and plan to continue working in the profession.

We will judge the nominees based on excellence in the areas of leadership, communication, professionalism, and community involvement. You can view more information here and submit your nomination(s). Please help us recognize an outstanding NCSPRA member by nominating a deserving candidate. The nomination deadline is Tuesday, January 21st.

If you have not already signed up to attend our postponed fall conference, it is not too late to register. However, the response has been excellent, so we could reach capacity soon. If you have been thinking about signing up, now is the time! The event will be February 12-14 at the Embassy Suites in Asheville.

Please attend our NCSPRA Annual Meeting on Wednesday, December 11th from 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. It will contain extremely important information about upcoming changes, events, and activities in NCSPRA. We normally hold our meeting during our fall conference. However, since the conference is postponed until February, we will conduct the 2024 annual meeting via Zoom. You may submit your Blue Ribbon Awards entries anytime between now and February 17th. You have extra time to submit entries this year, but you don't have to wait.
