LIFT- The NC State College of Education’s Leadership Institute for Future Teachers (LIFT) is a six-day, invitational program for students of color, bilingual students, and all students interested in teaching who are rising high school seniors in North Carolina. Students will delve into the field of education through engaging in field-based school activities, interacting with leaders in education, and exploring career options in education and related fields.
This year’s LIFT will be held from Sunday, June 23 through Friday, June 28, 2024 at NC State University. The cost of participation is free for students, except for transportation to and from NC State.
We need your help to identify academically-competitive students of color, bilingual students, and all students interested in teaching in North Carolina who are rising seniors in high school. They can self-nominate or be nominated by high school counselors, teachers, and principals. We ask that you please complete the nomination form by February 23rd.
