If you are considering enrolling your child in D10's preschool for the 2025-26 school year, please complete the interest form below ASAP.

Interested in having your preschooler screened? D10 will be screening preschool-aged children on these dates.

Do you have a child you would like to enroll in kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year? If so, please complete the below informational survey. This will ensure that you are on the list for us to communicate the Kindergarten Parent Orientation Meeting and the 2025-2026 registration opening in the future. Your child must be 5 years of age ON or BEFORE September 1st, 2025 to be eligible for Kindergarten.

8th grade graduation will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. The below letter was emailed to D10 8th grade parents with details and other 8th grade dates to mark down.

The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on January 15 at 7 p.m. at Benson Primary School.

Inclement Weather

Severe weather may result in school closing decisions. Please understand that the optimal time to make informed decisions to close school due to inclement weather is in the early morning. If severe weather is forecasted, we encourage parents to prepare your childcare options the night before so that you are prepared if a school closure occurs. School closing decisions will be made no later than 6:00am. Our children's and staff safety is our top priority.

With our School Reach phone system, all families will be notified via phone call and/or text if school is cancelled. It is imperative that the school always have your updated phone number. You may also check out our district website at www.itasca10.org. In addition, District 10 is a member of the (ECC) Emergency Closing Center.

Cold Weather

Please ensure your child has the necessary winter clothing every day.

- every day: winter coat, hat and gloves

- to play in the snow: winter coat, hat, gloves, boots, and snow pants

- on any day when it snows: winter coat, hat, gloves and boots

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Parent University on Artificial Intelligence (AI) originally scheduled for January 7th has been rescheduled. This virtual event will now take place on Thursday, January 30th, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Registration for the original event will automatically transfer, and a Google Meet link will be shared closer to the new date. To accommodate those who could not attend on January 7th, registration has been reopened. Please see the registration information below.
