Important Calendar Change for 2023-2024
We're excited to have some flexibility in our calendar that allows us to move up our last day of school for all students this year. View the updated Academic Calendar on the district website. Read more.
Important Reminders
- Our building is open at 8:05 a.m. each morning and school starts at 8:20 a.m. If your child is eating breakfast, please bring them to school early enough to eat before the day begins. Students who are eating breakfast should report to the cafeteria before going to class.
- If you would like your child to celebrate his or her birthday at school, we encourage non edible treats. If you prefer an edible option, we only permit items purchased through our Child Nutrition Department. Click here for the order form.
- All visitors must check-in at the office to go through our Raptor screening. This pertains to anyone entering the building for any reason. When you arrive in a WSD building as a visitor, you will be asked to scan your ID, take a photo and complete the management system’s check-in process.
Raptor will screen the information against sex offender databases and locally customized lists of banned or potentially threatening individuals, instantly alert school officials to a threatening presence, and maintain a searchable log of all visitors.
Once approved, you will get a customized visitor badge to wear while in the building.
- If your child's dismissal plan changes, please notify the office prior to 2:30 p.m.
Attendance Reporting Reminder
To report an absence please call (636-625-5600 Option #1) or email (attendance.greentree@wsdr4.org) with the reason for the absence.
Lost and Found
We have a variety of items in the GTE Lost and Found. Click the videos below to view missing items. Any items not claimed by May 28 will be donated.
Spring Testing Information
MAP Testing begins May 7 for fourth and fifth grades and May 13 for third grade. Please make sure your child gets a good night's rest, eats a filling breakfast each day, and brings a snack for testing breaks. Parents should make every effort for your child to attend school during testing. If your child must be absent, please notify the office so we can plan for make-up testing as soon as possible.
MRA Survey (We Value Your Input!)
To the Families of our Students,
Our school will be administering the Measurable Results Assessment (MRA), a survey and reporting system designed to provide insights into the progress of our school. We hope you will participate so we can use the feedback to make our school an even better place for students and families.
WHAT: Family Survey
● Survey typically takes about 5 minutes to complete
● Questions relate to the experiences you and your child have at our school.
● Answers are anonymous--to encourage people to be honest and open, no names and other identifying information will be collected.
WHEN: The survey is now available for you to take through May 24, 2024.
HOW: The survey can be taken from any computer, smartphone, or tablet with internet access,
