Hi SRE family, I hope this virtual orientation finds you well. We have provided information for all things Santa Rita. At the very end of this letter are the Parent Orientation videos for each grade level. Please check out the presentations that relate to your student(s) grade-level. We love this Panther family and just know, we are here for you. Together, we are building champions.

With growth comes some not so good changes. The Fightin' Panther Club will look different this year for lots of reasons but mostly to insure the safety of all our lil Panthers. Schools have been assigned a home game to run. SRE's next game is Thursday, September 16.

It has been wonderful to be in classrooms meeting students lately!

It is time for our official counseling lessons to begin! Here is the breakdown for the month of September:

K/1st grade- September 6-10...students will learn ways to handle problems independently 2nd/3rd grades- September 13-17...students will recognize how big problems are, and learn how to ask for help when needed

4th/5thgrades- September 20-24...students will identify the difference between friendly and hurtful teasing

Pre-K lessons will be at the end of the month, and students will learn to be a good listener

Also, we have New Student Lunch Bunches starting this month! New students will be assigned a day to have lunch with the counselor and other new students. These groups will continue through the fall semester.
