Message from the Principals
We will be conducting our final ALICE drill this coming week. Staff will preview safety information with students prior to the drill. We will communicate with families when the drill is complete. This link will include the videos that the students will watch to prepare for the drills.
So many events are still on the horizon. Thank you in advance to the many volunteers that helped get our students' art hung for our annual Art Show. Also, a big thank you to the many Author's Day volunteers that will help make this beloved event happen.
Have a great weekend!
Respectfully,
Terri and Jayson
Family Survey through Panorama Education
Dear Chelmsford Families,
Our district values your feedback! We are currently surveying The Chelmsford Public Schools families in order to gain insight into your perception of our school and district's effectiveness. We also want to better understand barriers to families accessing our schools and programs. To ensure we continue to provide high quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for college and career, we need your feedback. We want to know what you think.
To administer these surveys, we have partnered with Panorama Education to conduct our 2024 Family Survey as we did in 2023 as well. Panorama safeguards your privacy, keeping your responses anonymous. The survey shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete and will be a valuable source of information for us as we work to make our schools and district as good as they can be.
You may complete the survey online between Wednesday May 8th until Friday June 14th using a computer, tablet, or smartphone by visiting the website below:
https://surveys.panoramaed.com/chelmsfordma/family24/surveys
If you have multiple CPS school-aged children, please feel free to fill out multiple surveys to represent each individual child’s experience. The first question on the survey will be a dropdown to select which school you are filling the survey out for.
We thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses. If you have any questions about the survey administration, please don’t hesitate to contact your building Principal.
Thank you in advance for your time.

Nurses Corner
Dear South Row Families,
The hot weather is here! Please keep the weather in mind when your student’s are getting dressed in the morning. Please remember to send your students with water bottles and apply sunscreen before school. Students are not permitted to bring sunscreen to school. If your student needs sunscreen applied during the day please reach out to me. I can send you the necessary paperwork for their pediatrician to complete.
As you may or may not know, I usually give Chex cereal to students if they forgot their snack. I am running very low at this point in the school year so please try to make sure your student has a snack every day!
If you have been meaning to send me any updated paperwork or information, now is the time!
Have a great long weekend,
Nurse V.
PTO Corner
As the year winds down, the PTO board is still going strong. We do lots of planning during the summer too. And one of the things we hope to be working on is South Row spirit shirts for ALL incoming Kindergarteners. However, because of the cost associated with this idea we need to vote on it. We'll be hosting a BRIEF video meeting so that our treasurer Courtney can present all the details and allow for discussion if needed before we vote to approve this expense for next year. We'll have this on Wednesday June 5th at 7pm. We'll share the meeting link via email only within a week of the meeting. Thanks for taking some time to help us with this.
