Cloverdale families,

It's hard to believe are are already in the last week of trimester 2. We are celebrating with students on Thursday with an amazing talent show! We also had a great celebration in our behavior data in January. We had the lowest number of behavior referrals for the whole year! Students participated in a triple letter day as a way to celebrate. Thank you for your continued support at home.

Our Cloverdale mission statement says we are honest and self-motivated learners, so Expect Respect club made a video of what it means to be honest!

School hours are 8:45-3:45 and students are allowed to enter the building at first bell, which is 8:35. If students arrive past 8:45, they are considered tardy and must stop in the office. We understand on extreme cold days that we may have a longer car line, however, we are watching carefully and making decisions to mark students absent if they are arriving past 8:45 a.m., even if our staff is still outside assisting with the car line. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

This survey was designed to generate a detailed picture of the inner workings of each Illinois school. As a parent, it allows you to share your thoughts on important elements of our school's effectiveness with ISBE.

We are looking for parents to volunteer during our recess times to lead structured games, referee soccer, referee gaga ball, and positively interact with our students during recess. This is not a daily or weekly commitment, it would be based on your availability. If you are interested in this opportunity, please take a moment to fill out this Google Form. We will be hosting a meeting with interested parents to share more specific details at a later time.
