This week is Author Extravaganza Week which we celebrate and encourage the love of reading! We honor five amazing authors and their wonderful literary creations. Each day, a quote is read in the morning and students are asked to identify the book it came from. The next morning, random students are drawn from each grade and they select a book to take home as the prize!
On Monday, March 10th, we kickoff our ST Math March Mathness and set up our brackets. Students will start their day with a Basketball video and then we will be shooting hoops in the gym! The Champions will be announced on Monday, March 31st.

Preschool Registration 2025-2026
Completed applications will be accepted until March 10. Enrollment is granted on a first come first serve basis as well as day and time openings. Class placements will begin next week.
Kindergarten Registration 2025-2026
The Douglas Public Schools will be accepting ongoing Kindergarten Registrations until March 31st. The registration documents may be returned either in-person between 9:00am and 3:45pm; mailed to Douglas Primary School; or via email to phannon@douglasps.net. Children eligible for Kindergarten in September must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1, 2025.
Parents must present their child's original birth certificate or a certified copy in person prior to March 31st.
