Go Eagles! ๐ฆ
2024-2025 First Days of School ๐
What a wonderful start to our new school year! From Kindergarten Orientation to the Family Picnic and our 1st day of school - what an absolute blast. The energy at JC has been invigorating and it's because we have all come together to make the start of school the most special it could be for our kids.
A huge thank you to the JC staff who welcomed our kids on a red carpet with big smiles and wide open arms. The truth is they are worthy of such an entrance as they are the true stars โญ of the show! Of course, we could not have done this without the amazing and supportive parent community. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being so willing to help wherever there is a need.
As our students continue to settle into their new grade/classroom, you can expect for teachers in grades K-5 to administer beginning of year assessments in literacy and math. This data will help to inform planning and preparation for your child's teacher based on their area(s) of strength and improvement.
We are excited about all of the new opportunities, possibilities and growth this year will bring. Here's to a great year - let's soar like eagles!

School Dismissal Manager ๐
School Dismissal Manager is used at Julian Curtiss School to ensure the safe dismissal of your child each day. For your childโs safety, the classroom teacher and office staff will abide by the dismissal instructions that you have listed in SDM so this is a mandatory procedure. (SDM will not be used for absences or early dismissal notifications). Please be sure to sign up for the app and reach out to the main office if you need support.
