Principal's Message
Dear Angell Community,
This week we are excited about some special events.
On Monday, our district wide art staff is hosting our annual Art Show at the Tyndall Board Office from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. This event will have our students artistic talents on display for our entire community to enjoy. Special thanks to Ms. Letvin for all of her hard work in organizing this event and promoting all the Angell artists. If you have a little extra time on Monday night this is a worthwhile event to see. Our hope to see you there.
We are also hosting our annual Kindergarten Round Up. There is nothing more exciting than welcoming our newest students to Angell. We have nearly 80 new TK and K students ready to visit. We will host four sessions throughout the day so that all of our staff can meet and interact with our newest students while I get the chance to welcome our parents. Thank you to our PTA for helping make this a great event and organizing kindergarten, summer play dates. A special thank you to one of our Angell Alumni parents, Mrs. Sherril Whitmore, for making all of kindergarten bags. We appreciate her continued support. Even though her son graduated from Angell five years ago she continues to make a difference. She is definitely and example of the #berkleydifference.
One last note . . . . . our teaching and learning team (T&L) is beginning a math review process with district staff. As part of the process the T&L Team is seeking input from parents. Please take the time to complete the survey linked below.
I also wanted to take a moment to wish all the mothers in the Angell community a Happy Mother's Day. I hope you have a memorable day.

A special message from our PTA about Back to School Supply Lists
The Angell PTA is already thinking about the 2024-25 school year. The PTA has again partnered with 1st Day School Supplies to offer an optional way to purchase suggested school supply items for your student. These school supply kits have been reviewed by our staff and contain everything needed to start the next school year. Orders are due by July 1st and will be delivered to your student's classroom at Angell prior to the start of school. Please remember to order the grade level that your student will be in the fall.
