Hello Country Dale Family!
Last week we focused on continuing to build strong relationships with our students, ensuring safety preparedness through practical drills, and beginning to focus on our academics.
Creating a positive and inclusive environment begins with understanding and connecting with our students. Over the past week, teachers and staff have been engaging in activities that help foster these relationships, from icebreakers in the classroom to one-on-one conversations. We encourage families to continue this connection at home by asking their children about their experiences and new friendships.
Safety is always a top priority. Last week, we conducted our first lock down drill of the year. This drill is essential to help everyone understand the procedures in case of an emergency. We’re proud of how smoothly everything went and will continue throughout the year to ensure our students and staff are well-prepared.
Please take time to talk with your children about the importance of this drill, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you for your continued support in creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Nickel
