As the summer progresses, we've been thrilled to organize onboarding sessions to warmly welcome our new team members! It's been wonderful to see our latest #BVTogether additions dropping by to familiarize themselves with our technology and kickstart preparations for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. We're eagerly counting down the days until we can greet our students back next month!

Blue Valley families will notice important changes for the 2024-25 school year to payment options and fees associated with school meal account payments and LINQ Connect’s mobile app. These changes aim to provide a better user experience while accommodating vendor requirements.

Within the LINQ Connect portal, users can:

• Set up one-time or recurring payments for your student meal accounts

• View past transactions

• Transfer funds between students

• Receive low-balance notifications

• Apply for Free and Reduced Meal benefits

Families will continue to make online payments through LINQ Connect.’s online portal or mobile app. Those making an online credit card payment will be charged a $3 flat fee per transaction with a maximum total transaction limit of $250.

Additionally, families can also now pay via ACH/e-check. This option will have a $1.50 transaction fee with a maximum total transaction limit of $250.

Families can still make payments by sending cash or a check with their student at no charge. If families prefer to pay by check, please include the student’s ID number and name on the memo line. Checks should be made payable to Blue Valley Food and Nutrition Services (BVFNS). If a parent is sending cash with an elementary student, please place cash in a sealed envelope with the student’s name and lunch money written on the envelope.
