From the Principal's Office
Greetings Aztecs,
We are so excited to start the second semester and continue with our Mission on the Mesa. Our mission is to strengthen our connection to school through interactions both in and out of the classroom. Interactions where we use academic language to develop as students along with connecting to each other through participation in clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities. By focusing on this mission we will grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
As you begin the year make sure to set goals, envision how your strengths will help you achieve them, and rely on the foundation of our core values to guide you through. Respect, responsibility and resiliency continue to be our foundation on the Mesa. The first semester provided us all with struggles and successes to learn from. Reflect on those to help you throughout this year and beyond.
This is going to be an amazing semester Aztecs!
As a reminder, here is the link to our Community School tab which has the various survey links on the right hand side.
Mission on the Mesa!

Non-Privilege List
At MOH, we implement a non-privilege list. The list is created and updated regularly based on the following:
- Discipline: Any students suspended from school will be added to the list and may roll over to the next grading period for excessive referrals to the Assistant Principal.
- Attendance: 3 full day unexcused absences/18 single period unexcused absences or 12 unexcused tardies.
Click on the link to access the list:
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1v46TN4iNSEfQIYnATVHMFMJ9AYOQVyo8a8jx7j9Vaio/edit?usp=sharing
Students on the list are not able to attend or buy tickets to extra curricular activities outside of the school days such as dances or athletic events.
How to Clear Your Name from the List:
For Attendance: Attend Saturday School!
Discipline: Maintain behavior reflecting our Aztec values. Students will be re-evaluated at the end of each grading period. Referrals to the Assistant Principal will impact removal from the non-privilege list. We strongly encourage you to attend Saturday School!
