PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE
Dear Eagle Crest Families,
As you know, at our school, we practice RISE (Responsibility, Inclusivity, Safety, and Empathy) and embed these values in everything we do. When students model RISE behaviors, staff members recognize them by giving them a RISE ticket. Each morning, we read a few of these RISE tickets aloud to recognize the specific students who earned them and to share these exemplary behaviors schoolwide.
This year, we have been tracking RISE Tickets on the wall outside the library. We have now updated these for the end of the year, and it is amazing to see the growth everyone has made! We gave out a total of 4,310 RISE Tickets this year! Many grade levels had over 800 RISE Tickets, and 2nd Grade had the most with 1,025 tickets!
Thank you for a wonderful school year full of RISE behavior! I hope you have a great summer! Go Eagles!
Warmly,
Amanda

DEAN OF STUDENT'S UPDATE
Hello Eagle Crest Families,
Looking back on this school year, I am filled with immense joy and pride! Our Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram posts showcase many achievements and unforgettable moments we've experienced together. It has been a privilege to spend each day with your children, supporting their growth into future leaders. We are eagerly looking forward to the 2024-2025 school year and the new adventures it will bring! Have a wonderful Summer Break!
Here are some important logistical details for the summer:

Please email any changes to our Registrar, Dinah Sherwood, at: sherwood_dinah@svvsd.org.
Eagle Crest will be hosting a Project Launch summer learning program in the month of June. The program will be Monday through Thursday, 8:30am-3:30pm. The front office will be staffed 8:00am - 4:00pm each of those days, as well. Eagle Crest will be closed throughout the month of July until Tuesday, August 1st.
Don’t forget that learning and creating can continue all summer long with your student iPads! We have created this resource to guide families to the educational opportunities available on their iPads. There is even a myON reading challenge this summer! Additionally, all iPads will be refreshed in the fall. All students will return their iPads, charging blocks, and cords and will check out a new iPad. We will send more information out at the beginning of the school year.
