Idea Center
The Idea Center is a place where I learn about myself and others, use my brain, and be creative each day!
Spirit Week Correction
I was mistaken and thought the whole district was doing the same spirit days as the high school this week when I sent out the email last Friday. It looks like each school has selected their own spirit days. We welcome our LEAPers to come to the Idea Center in their school's spirit day theme. Our PEGS students will be following the Spirit Week plan outlined below.
Wanna be in the homecoming parade?
Come shine with the Idea Center as we march in Lindbergh's "Starry Night" Homecoming Parade on October 5th. Students, families and staff are invited to show your Lindbergh Spirit by wearing your Idea Center shirt or SPACE themed attire and walk behind our banner that our 5th graders will proudly carry to lead the way. We'll line up at Sperreng at 8:15 am and march the parade route by foot. If you'd like to support the parade, but can't march, we're looking for donations of bags of candy (preferably not chocolate that might melt) that kids can toss out to spectators along the route - there will be a bin at the front of the Idea Center where you or your student can drop off bags. We'll have a decorated banner to walk behind and stars for students to wave.
Email Melissa Nussbaum, meckert2@gmail.com with any questions or added spirit you want to add to our starry night theme.
Art/MakerSpace Requests
Mrs. Stewart is looking for donations of fabric, yarn, and corks. Please send these to the Idea Center.
Idea Center t-shirts are here!
These will be distributed to students this week on their LEAP Day!
