This month's character trait is cooperation: "working together to get the job done". Throughout the month, we will focus on this trait through class lessons, circle sharing, and class discussions. At the end of the month, with every month, we will recognize a student from each class who has embodied this trait well. See the attached newsletter for ideas to use as a family.

Please make sure the bus bay in front of school on Bryant Avenue is CLEAR for busses. By law, this is NOT a student drop off or pickup location during posted hours of arrival and dismissal times. TUSD School Safety department has cited our school as not complying this this; please help do your part!

Our Yearbook Club, supervised by Mrs. Deleon and Mrs. Lauderdale, have been working throughout the school year to create a wonderful yearbook for us! They have been working on the theme, layout, and photo content and it's nearly time to place your orders! Be on the lookout for the online ordering information. Yearbooks will be $10 each.

Taxes are due April 15th! It's not too late to file your taxes AND support Lineweaver's programs. Please consider designating your AZ state tax credit to Lineweaver's many programs such as sports, Wright Flight, OMA, clubs, undesignated, and others! use the online link here or stop by the front office! https://www.tusd1.org/donate

Our School Site Council is an important group that meets at least four times a year. We determine how to allocate our undesignated tax credit funds for the school and review important school plans. This group includes a mix of certified teachers, classified staff and parents/guardians. Looking ahead to next school year, we have ONE parent opening to join our group. If you are interested in joining us, please email Principal Walls at emily.walls@tusd1.org to be considered on the ballot (parents will vote for parents after an upcoming PTO meeting).
