OUR MISSION STATEMENT
What's Happening This Week?
Happy Sunday! This week is a short one and we are wrapping up the 1st 9 weeks. Last week we sent home important papers to students who are getting extra small group interventions. Those small groups are some of the ways that we are working to be sure students make progress and meet their yearly goals. We have lots of things happening each day to help students. Remember that we need your help to be sure students are at school and ready to learn. Absences and tardies affect their grades so please be sure they are at school unless they are sick. Please return doctor's notes to school the day they return. Doctor's excuses can also be emailed or faxed straight to school. Students who miss more than 10 unexcused days will not be promoted to the next grade. This month we are focusing on Self Direction for our Capturing Kids Hearts connection. Be sure and read the info below in the family newsletter for how you can help at home. Talking to your child about their day is powerful. We know that working together, we will reach our goals sooner! Grades for the 1st 9 weeks resport card end on Tuesday. The 1st 9 week report card will be sent home on Friday, October 18th. We are having our first Parent Picnic on Friday, October 18th for 5th grade. See important information below. We are offering several different opportunities for parental involvement throughout the year. Be sure to read this newsletter to be up to date on all that's happening each week. Thank you for being sure your child is here and ready to learn and grow each day. It's a great week to be a Bronco!

CAR POOL HELP NEEDED...
Parents, in the mornings, we have cars waiting in line starting at 6:30. In the afternoon, some are still lining up too early. This is causing big issues because the line can't move until 7:30 when we start unloading and when we start loading in the PM. We can't have cars in line creating a back up when we aren't even starting to unload/load. This is the cause of the line backing up to the road. If you get in line when the cars are moving it's safer for everyone. You will not be allowed to get in line until 7:00 AM so please help us. PM, please follow the times for your car load. Another way car rider parents can help is to move up and don't leave the 2 driveways open. The signs say yield to buses but I'm going to get them changed to say-STOP if you see a bus that needs to get out. Pull up and only STOP when you see a bus. This helps to keep the car line off the road. Thank you for your cooperation to keep everyone safe.
